Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope all of you did as well. Here are some of our Christmas morning pictures. The boys were so much fun! This was also the first year that Drew had a hard time falling asleep, he was so excited. He was also very good about reminding us many times that what we get for presents isn't that important, because what is important is that Jesus was born. I'm sure other moms experience those proud moments as well, it is just so nice to see your kids make such mature comments. He is growing into such a great boy, we are really proud of him. Oh and on the cute side he is also the boy at school who stands up for Santa to his non-believing friends.

This is the very full tree, most of the gifts are from family, we are so blessed to have them in our lives! The boys get spoiled from all around, from all of their grandparents, great-grandparents, as well as their aunts and uncles. Only the presents in the very front are from us.

Here is Drew so excited to be able to come out of his room to get the presents. His jammies are from Da (that is what the boys call my mom, that is what Drew called her when he was learning how to talk) including the cool slippers.

Drew and Jerrod opening their stockings.

Jerrod was most interesting in the candy, he would happily munch away and ignore the presents. What a silly boy!

Drew on the other hand couldn't get enough. He opened up his presents as well as Gideons'.

Here are the boys opening up more presents. Drew got a skateboard, yes I know we are asking for broken bones, but can it really be that much worse than a BMX bike?

I need to get some more pictures of this, but the boy's big present from Santa was a wii, and we spent most of the morning playing it. It is a lot of fun and the best part is that they get off the couch when they play. Our world promotes laziness at so many levels that we are glad they will now be at least partially active while playing games.
