At home

Everyone is finally home, and that means everyone is tired. This couch is in Gideon's room, how we are fitting in our small university apartment is pretty amazing, but we are. Most of the time it is just me and Gideon sleeping on the couch, but the other day Jerrod was being such a pill that Adam took him to have some cuddle time. I went to check on them after a few minutes and they were both out. It was pretty cute!
I try to be the one holding the camera so I don't get many pictures of myself. Yes mostly it is intentional, but Adam grabbed the camera the other day while I was cuddling with Gideon.
Saturday was a long day for us. In the morning we had to pick up our food co-op order. For those of you who are not familiar with a food co-op it is a group that works with farmers, and stores and gets really good deals on food that is passed onto the consumer. It is run completelyh on volunteer hours, and they have great food. Adam took Drew to help him pick it up. Usually we are there to help run it because resident council oversee's it here at the married student housing. We decided to opt out of helping this month because it's a little much with the new baby.

Right after they got back with the food Adam, Drew, and Jerrod went our ward Christmas breakfast. They got to eat a lot of good food, except Drew and Jerrod stole all of Adam's sausages and then Santa came to visit. We got a picture, but it didn't turn out very good. That's what happen when I'm not manning it ;)

When they got home we got ready and went out to lunch with my mom and her boyfriend Gary. It was fun to get out. We were totally surprised when they walked in carrying two wicker baskets full of baby stuff! Gary has never really been around a new baby before and he wanted to get Gideon a care package. It was really cute, he got 4 different types of shampoo, few different kinds of onsies, two packages of diapers, blankets, socks, bibs, hats, a cute outfit and snowsuit.

This all happened just two days after we got a package from my dad of jammies, onsies, burp clothes, and an awesome car seat cover. For those who still have little babies this is the coolest thing for cold weather. It has a fleece outside and a sherpa (I think that's what it is) fleece inside and the bottom of it lines the car seat and the buckles go through it and then it has a top that zips over to keep them all toasty. Not only does it eliminate needing tons of blankets, but is a lot warmer and seems quite a bit more comfortable because it cushions the bottom.
I may be missing a few things, it was a lot of great stuff. We are so blessed to have such great family and friends.

After lunch we rushed back home because Santa was visiting the village. Unfortunately we were too late. The boys were really bummed, but luckily I borrowed the suit that resident council has and since Santa was played by one of friends we asked for a favor which he happily agreed to.
So on Sunday afternoon we had a special visitor to our house! Here are the boys getting ready.

Drew is making sure his camera is working, unfortunately it ran out of batteries so we only took pictures on our "family" camera. Here's the boys with Santa:
Jerrod wasn't too sure, but as long as Drew was there he was happy!
And here are our three!
