Girls Weekend

My sister found some great rates to fly to denver so we took a girls weekend. I then was searching for a hotel and found a fancy one that was offering a special through the city of denver for rooms at 52.80 a night. That amount refers to the mile high city, where a mile is 5280 feet if you were wondering about the correlation.

It was so nice to have fun without husbands and kids. Carly and I got into Denver in the morning and went to check out the huge outlet malls. Google maps told us to take this one route that ended up being a toll road. That itself isn't a huge deal but about 5 miles after the first toll there was another one! Then another 5 miles we hit a third one. At least we got some awesome deals to counter the $7 we paid to drive there!

That night we went and got my mom and went to our hotel. The hotel had themed floors and we stayed on the chick flick floor which we felt was fitting. We filled up our time with chick flicks, great resturants, and a play that was for girls only. It was a ton of fun.

One of the other floors was the play date floor or something like it and we found this teeter tauter. It was fun.

We also went to bubba gumps for dinner and got a picture with the shrimp. It was a pretty fun place with great food.
