Boys!

My boys are all growing and changing so fast. These pictures are from the beginning of March. Drew had another violin recital, and he is doing so well! I am proud of how hard he works and the effort he puts into his music. He just played on Mother's Day in our ward and in the Primary Children's Branch. I'll ask him to play it again today so we can record it and put it on here. He is really talented and combine that with his hard work he will go far.Gideon is still our happy baby, but not so much a baby anymore. He loves to go down the slides and mimic his brothers. He makes the silliest faces which always make us smile.
Jerrod gave us a scare in March. As many of you know Jerrod had a series of seizures when he was 4 weeks old and had many tests ran and was on medication for them until he was 6 months old. Since then he has been seizure free unless he is running a high fever, and then he sometimes will have a febrile seizure. In general we don't worry about him too much but one day out of the blue he started complaining about feeling sick. He then proceeded to puke and poop at the same time on the toilet. When he was done he got up and fainted, most likely because of vasodialation from straining so hard on both ends. He then went into a seizure and pooped everywhere else in the bathroom. I caught him on the way down so luckily he didn't hit his head but as I was helping him clean up the only thing he wanted to do in the bath was sleep which is a big sign that is was in fact a seizure he experienced.

I called my doc who was out of town but one of his partners wanted to see him so we took him in. After a visit they sent us up to Primarys where they ran tests and fluids. By the end of it was he seemed back to his normal self and no longer confused and disoriented. We decided to run a MRI in a week to make sure everything was ok, and then see a neurologist if they weren't. Luckily everything came back clean but there are pictures from the MRI. They put them under general anestheshia for it so this is him coming out. He got a popsicle and cheetos, what else could a little boy want? :)
Here are all three of them hanging out for movie night. They are so much fun we are so greatful for our boys!
