Drew turns 6!

Drew turned 6! What an adventure. It was a fun, and busy day. After he got home from school he opened presents, which he was so excited for. His Grandpa Mike sent a bunch of Lego's that he loves, and to the disappointment of his parents he was more excited about the Lego's than his new BMX bike we got him. After he road around for a little bit he got to choose where he wanted to go to dinner, and as expected he chose Red Lobster. I think he may be one of the only kids who chooses Red Lobster for his birthday, but his favorite meal is their clam chowder. What a silly boy!

Dinner was a fiasco, people who came in after us had finished their meals and where leaving before we even got served....... it was a frustrating evening. After that it was all fun and games though, we took the boys to the skate park where they met up with Jaycob, Logan, and their dad Erek. They biked around for awhile and had tons of fun. If you could splice out the whining about going home at the end, as well as the delay in our dinner it was just about perfect!

On Saturday we finished up Drew's party by going bowling. We kept it pretty low-key and had family and the Winnetts over. It was a lot of fun. The boys loved bowling and we had to keep a close eye on Jerrod because if left to his own devices would run up grab a ball and throw it down a lane.

Drew had an awesome storm trooper cake made by his very cool dad! We made it with cupcakes and then put them together to frost, if anyone is getting ready for a child's party it made for such easy serving and clean up! He also got a bunch more Lego's and mostly enjoyed spending time with his favorite people!
