Drew's Birthday

Drew turned 8 on September 12th and had a very busy month. It started with me going to his class and taking some treats. He got to wear the cool birthday hat and they sung to him in both Spanish and English. It was pretty fun. He is so shy and it's kinda cute to watch him blush and get embarrassed.
This is when they were singing, he was trying to block them out. :)

The next day was his birthday and we did his baptism (another post) and a big family party at the same time. Here he is with his cake with his cousins and friends.

The next week Drew had a sleepover friend party. We were able to have Jaycob and Logan spend the night, and his other friend Jacob was able to come to the party but was going camping so his missed the sleepover part. We had a pirate party and they had fun with the pirate flag pinata. We took turns hitting it from youngest to oldest, here is Isabella taking the first hit.
Gideon thougth it was so fun to use the bat and not get in trouble. He tends to hit things around the house not excluding walls and brothers.
Here is Jerrod with everyone cheering him on.
I had a difficult time getting Logan to face towards the camera.
Here's Jacob Silva, we decided to blindfold the older boys to give them more of a challenge.
Here's Jaycob, a great action shot.
Of course here is the birthday boy getting his shot in.

Here he is with his cake. Drew is such a great kid and I love being able to watch him grow up and his personality and character come out. He is so patient with his brothers and loves playing with them. Drew we are so glad to have you as part of our family! We love you!

What a fun birthday party. I love the pirate flag pinata. Drew sounds like he is a special son. But of course... he has an awesome Mom!

The kids had a blast at the birthday. I really like the shot of Isabella.
